Newly-promoted Brighton has an incredibly tall task ahead of them as they take on newly-reinforced Manchester City at home.

12:30 p.m. – English Championship Round 2 – Middlesbrough vs Sheffield United – Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough

Where: ESPN3 USA, WatchESPN

Sheffield is coming off of a 1-0 win over Brentford, while newly-relegated Middlesbrough opened with a 1-0 loss to Wolves.

1:15 p.m. – Primeira Liga Round 2 – Belenenses vs Maritimo – Estádio do Restelo, Lisbon

Where: fuboTV, GolTV USA, GolTV Espanol

Maritimo scraped by Ferreira in their first game 1-0, while Belenenses narrowly lost to Rio Ave, 1-0.

2:00 p.m. – Ligue 1 Round 2 – Bordeaux vs Metz – Matmut Atlantique, Bordeaux

Where: fuboTV, beIN Sports En Espanol, beIN Sports Connect USA

Metz are looking to avenge their opening loss to Guingamp, while Bordeaux come in as heavy home favorites following their 2-2 draw with Angers.

2:00 p.m. – Ligue 1 Round 2 – Toulouse vs Montpellier – Stadium Municipal, Toulouse

Montpellier are looking to build on an opening win over Caen, while Toulouse fell to Monaco 3-2 in their opener.

2:30 p.m. – Club Friendly – Internazionale vs Real Betis – Stadio Via del Mare, Lecce

Where: ESPN Deportes USA, ESPN3 USA, ESPN Deportes+ USA, WatchESPN

Inter and Betis will make final preparations before their seasons begin next weekend.

3:30 p.m. – National Women’s Soccer League – Washington Spirit vs Boston Breakers – Maryland SoccerPlex, Germantown

Two struggling teams in the NWSL this season will clash as both teams are tied at 15 points through 16 games and are currently 5 points behind 7th-place Houston Dash.

3:30 p.m. – Primeira Liga Round 2 – Boavista vs Rio Ave – Estádio do Bessa Século XXI, Porto

Where: fuboTV, GolTV USA, GolTV Espanol

Rio Ave come into this game as slight favorites and have not lost the last three league contests dating back to last season.

4:00 p.m. – MLS – Seattle Sounders FC vs Sporting KC – CenturyLink Field, Seattle

Where: fuboTV, DirecTV, Fox Sports Go, MLS Live, Fox Sports Kansas City, JOEtv – KZJO Seattle, KUNS TV – Univision Seattle, SiriusXM FC

A top-level Western Conference showdown is on the cards as Sporting KC and Seattle are separated by just three points. KC is undefeated in their last 9 league matches, but come into this game as sizable underdogs. The Sounders haven’t conceded a goal in their last three league matches.

6:00 p.m. – MLS – Toronto vs Portland Timbers – BMO Field, Toronto

Where: DirecTV, MLS Live, Root Sports Northwest, SiriusXM FC

This inter-conference contest will see 1st-place Toronto take on 5th-place Portland. The Timbers are currently tied with three other teams in a tie for second place in the Western Conference.

6:00 p.m. – Liga MX Apertura Round 4 – Queretaro vs Morelia – Estadio La Corregidora, Querétaro

Where: ESPN Deportes USA, ESPN Deportes+ USA, ESPN3 USA, WatchESPN

Slight-favorites Queretaro host Morelia, who have drawn all three of their games to this point.

6:00 p.m. – Liga MX Apertura Round 4 – Cruz Azul vs Toluca – Estadio Azul, Mexico City

Where: fuboTV, Univision Deportes USA

After starting the season 1-2-0, Cruz Azul will host third-place Toluca. Toluca is currently on a two-game winning streak.

6:00 p.m. – Liga Ascenso Apertura Round 4 – Atletico Zacatepec vs Murcielagos – Estadio Agustín “Coruco” Díaz, Zacatepec

Where: fuboTV, GolTV USA, GolTV Espanol

Murcielagos have started the season 2-0-1 and are one point ahead of Zacatepec, who have started the season 1-2-0.
