What 2 Watch – 8/12/17 Morning – EPL, DFB Pokal, Championship, Ligue 1

With the season starting, the weekend editions will be broken up to prevent one big list that goes on forever.

7:30 a.m. – English Premier League Round 1 – Watford vs Liverpool – Vicarage Road, Watford

Where: fuboTV, NBCSN, NBC Sports Live, Telemundo Deportes en Vivo, LFCTV Go, SiriusXM FC, TalkSport Radio World

Both teams open up their seasons with injury troubles as Watford will be without Troy Deeney, Christian Kabasele and Mauro Zarate. Liverpool will be without Nathaniel Clyne and Adam Lallana.

9:30 a.m. – DFB Pokal Round of 64 – Chemnitzer FC vs Bayern Munich – community4you ARENA, Chemnitz

Where: ESPN3 USA, WatchESPN

Bayern will be on the road for the first round of the German Cup, but will be extraordinary favorites going into this game.

10:00 a.m. – English Premier League Round 1 – Chelsea vs Burnley – Stamford Bridge, London

Where: fuboTV, NBCSN, NBC Sports Live, Universo, Universo Now, Telemundo En Vivo, Chelsea TV Online, SiriusXM FC, TalkSport Radio World

Defending Champions Chelsea will open up their season with a lot of question marks, much like their opponents Burnley. Chelsea made a couple of key signings, but they are not quite ready yet according to Antonio Conte. Burnley is coming off of the sale of Andre Gray

10:00 a.m. – English Premier League Round 1 – Crystal Palace vs Huddersfield Town – Selhurst Park, London

Where: Palace PlayerHD Live, TalkSport Radio World, NBC Sports Gold

Newly-promoted Huddersfield Town will be on the road against a Crystal Palace side that will likely be close to relegation as the season winds down.

10:00 a.m. – English Premier League Round 1 – Everton vs Stoke City – Goodison Park, Liverpool

Where: fuboTV, CNBC, NBC Sports Live, Telemundo Deportes En Vivo, evertontv, Sport 24 Extra, TalkSport Radio World

Everton opens their Premier League season without Romelu Lukaku and with Wayne Rooney. One has to wonder what Rooney’s role will be on the team and this first game could shed light on that matter.

10:00 a.m. – English Premier League Round 1 – Southampton vs Swansea City – St. Mary’s Stadium, Southampton

Where: NBC Sports Gold, TalkSport Radio World

Both teams come into this game with question marks as the transfer deadline comes to a close. Swansea is looking to keep hold of Gylfi Sigurdsson, while Southampton still has to sort out what is going on with Virgil Van Dijk.

10:00 a.m. – English Premier League Round 1 – West Bromwich Albion vs AFC Bournemouth – The Hawthorns, West Bromwich

Where: NBC Sports Gold, TalkSport Radio World

Both teams come into the season looking to secure at least mid-table following decent 2016-17 seasons.

10:00 a.m. – English Championship Round 2 – Brentford vs Nottingham Forest – Griffin Park, London

Where: ESPN3 USA, WatchESPN

Nottingham is coming off of an opening 1-0 win over Millwall, while Brentford is coming off of a 1-0 loss to Sheffield United. During the midweek, Nottingham dispatched Shrewsbury 2-1 in the Carabao Cup, while Brentford took care of AFC Wimbledon, albeit after extra time.

11:00 a.m. – Ligue 1 Round 2 – Nantes vs Olympique Marseille – Stade de la Beaujoire, Nantes

Where: fuboTV, beIN Sports USA, beIN Sports En Espanol, beIN Sports Connect USA, TV5 Monde USA

Marseille are coming off of a convincing 3-0 win over Dijon in their season opener, while Nantes suffered a 3-0 loss to Lille in Claudio Ranieri’s debut with the club.
