What 2 Watch – 8/9/17 – Primeira Liga, Carabao Cup, Copa Libertadores, Copa MX, Copa Sudamericana

2:00 p.m. – Portugal Primeira Liga Round 1 – Porto vs Estoril – Estádio do Dragão, Porto

Where: fuboTV, GolTV USA, GolTV Espanol, Antena 1 – RTP

Both teams open up their season as Porto will be looking to end Benfica’s reign this upcoming season.

2:45 p.m. – Carabao Cup Round of 128 – Leeds United vs Port Vale – Elland Road, Leeds

Where: ESPN3 USA, WatchESPN

The English League Cup kicks off with Championship side Leeds hosting League Two side Port Vale.

2:45 p.m. – Carabao Cup Round of 128 – Colchester United vs Aston Villa – Colchester Community Stadium, Colchester

Where: ESPN3 USA, WatchESPN

This matchup sees Championship side Villa take on League Two Colchester United. Despite being the home team, the divisional gap between the two appears that it will be too much for Colchester.

4:00 p.m. – Portugal Primeira Liga Round 1 – Benfica vs Sporting Braga – Estádio da Luz, Lisbon

Where: fuboTV, GolTV USA, GolTV Espanol, Benfica TV – BTV 1, BTV Online, Antena 1 – RTP

League-champions Benfica open up their season as heavy home favorites over Braga.

6:15 p.m. – Copa Libertadores Round of 16 Second Leg – Gremio vs Godoy Cruz – Arena do Grêmio, Porto Alegre

Where: fuboTV, Fox Sports Go, Fox Deportes, Fox Soccer Match Pass

Gremio comes into this second leg up 1-0 on aggregate and heavy favorites for this leg. The winners will take on either Botafogo RJ or Club Nacional.

8:06 p.m. – Copa MX Apertura Round 3 – Pachuca vs Queretaro – Estadio Miguel Hidalgo, Pachuca

Where: fuboTV, Univision Deportes USA

Both teams are coming off wins in their first game of this competition.

8:30 p.m. – US Open Cup Semifinals – Sporting KC vs SJ Earthquakes – Children’s Mercy Park, Kansas City

Where: USsoccer.com

Three-time US Open Cup Champions Sporting Kansas City will be coming off of a Quarterfinal win over former defending champions FC Dallas. The Earthquakes defeated struggling LA Galaxy in the Quarterfinals to get to this point.

8:45 p.m. – Copa Libertadores Round of 16 Second Leg – Palmeiras vs Barcelona – Allianz Parque, São Paulo

Where: fuboTV, Fox Sports Go, Fox Deportes, Fox Soccer Match Pass

Despite sitting as big favorites for the second leg, Palmeiras has to overturn a 1-0 aggregate deficit to advance.  The winners will face either Santos or Atletico-PR.

8:45 p.m. – Copa Libertadores Round of 16 Second Leg – Atletico Mineiro vs Wilstermann – Estádio Raimundo Sampaio, Belo Horizonte

Mineiro are gigantic favorites for this second leg, but need to overturn a 1-0 deficit before they think about facing River Plate in the Quarterfinals.

8:45 p.m. – Copa Sudamericana Round of 32 Second Leg – Flamengo vs Palestino – Maracanã, Rio de Janeiro

Flamengo currently holds a huge 5-2 lead over Palestino going into this second leg. If they see it through, they will face Chapecoense in the Round of 16.

9:30 p.m. – Copa MX Apertura Round 3 – Pumas UNAM vs Monterrey – Estadio Olímpico Universitario, Mexico City

Where: fuboTV, Univision Deportes USA

Pumas will look to improve on an opening draw over last-place Celaya. Monterrey defeated Celaya in their first game.

10:00 p.m. – Copa MX Apertura Round 3 – Juarez vs Guadalajara – Estadio Olimpico Benito Juarez, Chihuahua

Where: ESPN Deportes USA, ESPN Deportes+ USA, WatchESPN

Chivas can put the pressure on Santos Laguna with a win over Juarez. In their first meeting in the group stage, Chivas won 4-2.
