9:00 a.m. – FA Community Shield – Arsenal vs Chelsea – Wembley Stadium, London

League-winners Chelsea and FA-Cup-winners Arsenal will meet at Wembley in this “game of champions,” so-to-speak. Even though it’s a glorified friendly, it is still a London Derby, so both teams will want to secure bragging rights before the Premier League kicks off next weekend. With a win, Arsenal will tie Liverpool with the second-most titles at 15. Chelsea would separate themselves in 6th all-time as they would break loose from Wolves and Manchester City. They would still be two behind Tottenham in 5th.

11:00 a.m. – UEFA Women’s European Championship Final – Netherlands vs Denmark – De Grolsche Veste, Enschede

A rather exciting Women’s Euro comes to a close as beloved hosts Netherlands will come up against beloved upset queens Denmark. This is both Denmark’s and the Netherlands’ first Euro final. The Netherlands beat Denmark during the group stage 1-0, but that was before Denmark ensured that a team other than Germany would win the tournament for the first time since 1993 when Denmark stunned the six-time defending champions in the Quarterfinals. Denmark would go on to defeat Austria in penalties in the Semis. The Netherlands decisively beat Sweden and England to get to the Final.
