What 2 Watch – 8/2/17 – Audi Cup, MLS All-Star Game, Club Friendly, US Open Cup

Be sure to stay tuned to our Twitter (@wft_podcast) for live commentary, thoughts and analysis on tons of games throughout the season. Each matchup links to Live Soccer TV’s listings for these matchups in the USA and around the world.

*All times Eastern Standard Time

11:45 a.m. – Audi Cup Third Place Game – Bayern Munich vs Napoli – Allianz Arena, Munich

For the first time in the Audi Cup’s brief history, Bayern will not finish first or second in the competition. Instead, they will face competition newcomers Napoli. The Italian side can equal the best finish for an Italian team, going even with Milan’s third-place finish in 2013. The game will be on fuboTV and Univision Deportes USA in the States.

2:30 p.m. – Audi Cup Final – Liverpool vs Atletico Madrid – Allianz Arena, Munich

For just the second time in five total tournaments, the champions of the Audi Cup will not be Bayern Munich. Liverpool has a chance to be the first English champion of this competition, while Madrid would be the second behind Barcelona’s title in 2011. Manchester City and Manchester United finished in 2nd in 2013 and 2009, respectively. You can find this one on fuboTV and Univision Deportes USA.

2:45 p.m. – Club Friendly – Manchester United vs Sampdoria – Aviva Stadium, Dublin

Manchester United, fresh off of their 4th-place finish in ICC USA, will meet Sampdoria in Ireland in their final game prior to the UEFA Super Cup in Skopje on August 8. Sampdoria will meet Swansea on August 5 before beginning the Serie A season. ESPN is picking up the game on TV, with the game being broadcasted on ESPN2, as well as streamed on Watch ESPN and the MUTV App.

6:15 p.m. – Copa Sudamericana Round of 32 Second Leg – LDU Quito (ECU) vs Bolivar (BOL) – Estadio Rodrigo Paz Delgado, Quito

The Copa Sudamericana continues its final Round of 32 matchups as Quito comes in as heavy favorites for their home leg, but trail in the aggregate 1-0. The game can be found on fuboTV, FOX Deportes, Fox Sports GO and FOX Soccer Match Pass.

7:30 p.m. – US Open Cup Quarterfinal – Miami vs Cincinnati – Riccardo Silva Stadium, Miami

This one is going to be fun. The only two non-MLS sides left in the competition, with Miami playing in the North American Soccer League (NASL) and Cincinnati playing in the United Soccer League (USL), these two teams will give their all to advance and play the New York Red Bulls in the Semifinals. Want more motivation? The winner of this game will host the Semifinal. You can find this game on MLSsoccer.com, USsoccer.com and Spectrum Sports Ohio.

8:45 p.m. – Copa Sudamericana Round of 32 Second Leg – Olimpia (PAR) vs Nacional Asuncion (PAR) – Estadio Manuel Ferreira, Asuncion

A little bit of domestic rivalry will come to a head as heavy favorites for this second leg Olimpia stand level with Nacional. This game will be found solely on FOX Soccer Match Pass.

9:00 p.m. – MLS All-Star Game – MLS All-Star Team vs Real Madrid – Soldier Field, Chicago

Real Madrid will take part in their last game in the States following a rather torrid ICC USA campaign, not that they will be too bothered by it. Madrid will be looking to accelerate match fitness ahead of their UEFA Super Cup against Manchester United and their two-legged Spanish Super Cup against Barcelona. This game is everywhere domestically, so I will just list the places: fuboTV, Univision USA, Fox Sports 1 USA, RMTV, AFN Sports, Univision NOW, Fox Sports GO, FOX Soccer Match Pass, Univision Deportes USA, SiriusXM FC.
